SHONEN SCRAN: World Record For Most Chicken Nuggets Eaten In 3 Minutes (beating Furious Pete in 2017)

This was a weird one. I saw Furious Pete’s Mcnugget training for most nuggets eaten in 3 minutes and realised that I could eat 20 (see my previous world record) way faster than he could. There was no way in hell I was going to spend money on 700g+ of McNuggets so I bought a cheap KG bag of nuggets from the local Tesco. I cooked them all, weighed them (~900g), and I was basically going to weigh whatever was left and work out how much I ate. Furious had a record of ~750g so if I managed to eat them all within 3 minutes the record would be mine.

Well, I actually ate them all with ten seconds to spare. I did better than I ever thought I would and beat the record by ten seconds and 200 grams. Quite crazy.

Caveat; they weren’t mcnuggets. So officially for fairness I’d have to it with McNuggets. However, I know I can eat 20 McNuggets faster than him and that’s provable on camera. Also, I ate 200 grams more and finished ten seconds early. I’m pretty content with saying that it’s a victory, even if it wouldn’t meet Guiness World Record standards.

One day I’d like to set up the Guiness process just to say I did it but right now I don’t really need the extra clout. This was super fun to do and beating one of Furious Pete’s records was a tasty experience.
